CAIRO (Sputnik) – Israel carried out airstrikes against the Yemeni capital city of Sanaa and its outskirts on Sunday, a Yemeni source told Sputnik. “Explosions are heard in Sanaa and its outskirts due to Israeli airstrikes,” the source said. Two people were killed and five others injured in Israeli airstrikes against the Yemeni capital city of Sanaa and its outskirts, the Al Masirah TV channel, which is run by the Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, reported on Sunday.Yemeni air defenses repelled most of Israeli airstrikes, Houthi spokesperson Nasruddin Amer said on social media.On Friday, Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, said they had launched a ballistic missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv as well as on two other targets in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon.
